I just want to tell you that, no matter who you are or what horrible things you’ve done, God your creator loves you more than you can imagine. ❤️
God’s Word, otherwise known as the Bible, was inspired by God. It was written for people like you and me to bring the absolute truth of God’s saving grace to everyone so that we might be with Him in heaven forever when we die.

Romans 3:23 English Standard Version (ESV):
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
We all do what is wrong in God’s eyes, and that is sin. We are fallen, but God is Holy.
1 Timothy 2:5 English Standard Version (ESV):
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. Who is He?
John 10:30 English Standard Version (ESV)
I and the Father are one.”
This is Jesus speaking of how he is God just as the God the Father is God. This includes the Holy Spirit who resides in you when you come to accept Jesus as your savior. All three make up one God, not gods, but God. This is what we call the Trinity, and though we may not fully understand it, it just goes to show how amazing God is. Not even our human minds can fully comprehend Him!
John 3:16 English Standard Version (ESV):
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
1 Peter 2:24 English Standard Version (ESV)
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
“He” here is talking about Jesus. Jesus gave up his life and died on a cross (called tree here because it was made of wood) so that YOU may live with Him in heaven. God loved us SO much he gave up his perfect son as a perfect sacrifice for us. We needed Jesus to ever be in the presence of a perfect God. Jesus was wounded and beaten for YOU. God only asks that you love and believe in Him, accepting God’s gift so that when looking on you He sees not your imperfectness but Jesus’ perfect life.
JESUS IS OUR SAVIOR.
Ephesians 2:8-9 English Standard Version (ESV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
The problem is, no matter how hard you try you will never be able to live up to the standard of a perfect God. That’s exactly why we need Jesus.
The only way you can ever please our perfect Holy God is by believing in Jesus as your Lord and savior and thus receiving the Holy Spirit.
By God’s grace, you can be saved if you have faith. This has NOTHING to do with what you can do or did. Good works, good deeds, are worthless to save you. It is God’s gift to you, which means you have no reason to boast in yourself. It is all the work of God, you just have to accept it and love Him, and He will work through you.
Romans 8:5-8 English Standard Version (ESV):
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Flesh here just means basically: Human Desire. If you are living just the way you want to and have not submitted to God, you cannot please Him. When you have accepted Jesus as your savior and received the Holy Spirit you should want to live according to God’s law. If you live according to the Spirit you will have peace in doing all God wants you to. If you only care about yourself and your desires you are hostile to God. You can’t please God if you aren’t seeking Him and His Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 English Standard Version (ESV)
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
The Scripture (Bible) is ALL we need to be equipped for everything God wants us to do, nothing else.
Luke 10:27 English Standard Version (ESV)
And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Jesus is answering a question he was asked: which was the best law? Jesus says that you MUST love God with everything, more than anything, and love others as you would love yourself.
Colossians 2:6 English Standard Version (ESV)
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
When you have received Jesus walk with him spiritually all your days by talking to him through prayer, reading the Bible, and obeying him.
