Hello! Welcome to Treasured Script! You may call me, Jewel. I’m a girl with a pixie cut.

I started this site after a few years of doll blogging. I loved it so much, that I thought it would be fun to begin a personal site.

I enjoy photography and I LOVE words! I learn by hearing, and sometimes I have to talk out loud to others to fully understand what I am thinking. I like statistics and facts, but I also enjoy using my imagination.

I want to be a fiction author because:

  1. My brain is mentally obliged to come up with ideas. Not a day goes by that I am not thinking about stories. It is very satisfying to write my ideas down.
  2. I think the world needs stories. They affect people so deeply, and I love how stories have different morals and ideas behind them that can influence the reader. I believe God can use that through me for good.
  3. One of my favorite things about stories (real and fictional) are the characters because I am largely intrigued by God’s most amazing creation: people. By writing stories it helps me understand the psyche in myself and others. It is fascinating.

I created this site as a fun and clean place to go for introspective things on life, movies, books, media, and stories in general. My wish is to share God’s, unending love. You can expect to see, reviews, thought and discussion posts, encouragement, writing posts, tips,  games, news, and much more excitingness!

Here are some interesting facts about me:

  • I’m the oldest of 4 kids (A sister and 2 brothers).
  • I was homeschooled and wouldn’t change that for the world.
  • I think my favorite color would be yellow.
  • I’m a big Marvel Fan. I also really like the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.
  • DC’s saving grace is Lego Batman and the Dark Knight Trilogy. 😍
  • In fact, The Dark Knight is my favorite superhero movie.
  • STAR WARS!!!!!! (I love it…)
  • Lego Ninjago, Star Wars The Clone Wars, and Batman the Animated Series are my three absolute favorite cartoon shows.
  • I have realized I am a geek.
  • I do not usually enjoy watching movies alone because I cherish the reactions of others.
  • I use a Canon EOS Rebel T5 camera.
  • I like to dye my hair, but only in bizarre ways. So far I’ve tried bright red, jade, and purple, and the color has washed out so I have blond highlights. I am going to let my hair rest now, for at least a while.
  • I generally dress in graphic tees for casual occasions and I also enjoy ’50s fashion. I ADORE hats… and my R2-D2 dress. (I’m a geeky old soul.)
  • I’m currently writing a dystopian novel and I’ve written multiple short stories.
  • I’m a talker, but I also like to observe.
  • I love to laugh when possible, but I am a serious discusser of things.
  • Corny jokes are funny to me.

  1. I love the first picture! Did you use a tripod or did one of your siblings take it? Yes! Lego Batman is the best!!! Did you hear about the Lego Movie Sequel? I’m super excited!

      4. Oh no! Don’t do this to me! Uh… I like Spiderman a lot, I also like Black Widow, Ironman, and who can hate Captian America? Rocket Racoon and Groot are great… everyone! I actually made a Spiderman cover for my phone and he is on my home screen, so I might say him? I also like Thor more than I used to with his new haircut. 🙂

  4. Hi Jewel, I just found your blog and I really like it!!! We also seem to have a lot in common 👋.
    I love movies and books, I’m a Marvel and DC fan (everyone thinks I’m weird for liking both). Christopher Nolan is my fav director. I love hats, I’m a big talker and corny jokes are the BEST!!!
    What’s your fav movie? Mine might be The Greatest Showman.

      That’s so neat! You’re not weird! Yes! I agree Christopher Nolan is an amazing director, and now that you mention it, it is hard to pick a favorite movie, but I really like the Dark Knight. It is my favorite superhero movie at least. I actually need to add that to this page. XD The Nolan trilogy is fantastic. I’m just not a huge fan of the movies DC is doing at the moment. The Greatest Showman is such a fun one! Thank you for commenting, Sarah. ❤ We do have a lot in common. 🙂

      1. Oh yeah, The Dark Knight is really good ☺️, to me it was very different from the average superhero movie, and Heath Ledger pulled the role of The Joker off extremely well!
        I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts in the future! ❤️

  10. Hats are awesome and I love stories as well! Marvel and Star Wars are cool, I’m the oldest kid, and I’m definitely a talker. I really hope to die my hair someday! 🙂 We have so much in common, Jewel! I’m looking forward to getting to know you! 😀
